In the event of a school closure, please see the suggested activities below for children to do at home to continue their learning. Please upload any completed activities to Early Excellence (, I'd love to see what the children have been up to!

Please access Busythings: using the school username and password which you'll find in your recent newsletter.

There are lots of games and activities you can do with your child on the Oxford Owl website to get them developing speaking and listening skills, building vocabulary, counting and other early literacy and numeracy skills. Most important of all, these ideas are great fun!

All children have a red folder with the Read, Write, Inc. letter formation sheets in, please also complete these.

Please access Amazon Audible - all stories are free to stream on your desktop, laptop, phone or tablet.

The website is updated daily with activities for parents and children to do at home. It includes videos, stories and lots of ideas for playing and learning together. You can access all the previous activities, so there is plenty to keep children engaged and interested. The resources required are simple, things that you would probably already have at home for example cardboard boxes, cutlery, socks, paper, pens. And the daily timetable is based on a theme, for example, Spring into Spring, Gardens Art, Me, My Home my House. Enjoy :)
